Here's what is new this June…
Limited Edition Soaps
The limited edition soap scents for this month are Coconut, Destinations, Gardenia, and Lime. They're great summer scents that we're excited to offer.
We also have limited quantities of Black Cherry Grape, Confetti, Cranberry, and Nag Champa, available while supplies last.
Sugar Scrub Cubes
We've shifted some stuff in the soaproom and have sugar scrub cubes available again. We plan to regularly have them in both OMH and Pink Sugary. In addition, we can make you a custom scent, but you need to purchase a minimum of 10 for a custom scent to be made.
Rosemary Mint Deodorant
We've had many requests for a different scent for our deodorant. We now have a deodorant available that is scented with Rosemary, Spearmint, and Tea Tree essential oils. We think the original deodorant scent does a better job covering odor, but if you don't enjoy that scent, you now have a second option. We also have some information on How to Detox Your Armpits that may help with transitioning to our deodorant.
Father's Day
Every year for Father's Day, Jim comes up with a custom fragrance blend for men. The series is called, "Destinations" and each custom blend is named for a place that comes to mind when the soap is smelled. From Havana, to Valencia, to Palermo, to Coral Gables, Jim has had us all over the globe with these fatherly fragrances.

This year's destination takes us to a mountainside in the French Alps, where the first Winter Olympic Games were held in 1924. The small town of Chamonix has long been a destination for its skiing, and the coat of arms has a goat on it! This year's Father's Day soap, "Destinations: Chamonix", with manly hints of floral and freshness, calls to mind a high alpine meadow covered with wildflowers and surrounded by rugged mountains.
Father's Day Gift Pack
This month we also have a special Father's Day Gift Pack in a "manly" black bag with 3 "guy approved" scented soaps, which include: Destinations, Nautical, and Sandalwood. These are discounted to $10 for an easy Father's day gift.
Father's Day Shipping
This year Father's Day falls on June 21. To be sure to get your soaps in time, just place your order by midnight on Tuesday, June 16th. We’ll be sure to ship it out by the 17th and as long as the post office does its job, orders that have shipped priority mail ($6.50 and higher shipping) will arrive by Saturday.
Candy Kitchen
Construction never happens as quickly as we anticipate and our candy kitchen still isn't complete. But it's very close and as soon as we have our fudge and candies available, we'll send out an email notification. Thanks for your patience - we're really excited and can't wait to share it with you!
Discounted Items
We're trying to make some extra room in our shipping area for the fudge and candies that are coming. So we have discounted several items to move them out. These are only available while supplies last.
Emery's Flower Garden and Dessert Tray soaps are currently marked down to $5.
Almond and Oatmeal Milk & Honey shampoo full bars are marked down to $7.50 and the half bars are marked down to $4.50. We currently don't have plans to make these again, so if you love them, grab them now.
Select scents - blueberry, buttered rum, chocolate, cider press, clean cotton, harvest sunrise, nautical, and sugar cookie - of our soy candles are discounted to $4.
We have underweight Organic Castile Bars available. Those that weigh 3 - 3.5 oz are marked down to $5 and those that weigh 3.6 - 4 oz are marked down to $5.50. They will not come in a cotton GMS bag.
We also have discounted soap pieces available starting at $3.75 - just choose from the available scents in the drop down menu.

New Website Homepage
We have a new homepage for our website coming very soon that we are excited about. The changes will be minor, but should make navigation easier, as well as add quick access to our new food products. We don't have a scheduled date for the change, but wanted you to be aware that a change was coming so it didn't take you by surprise.

Homestead Happenings
It's starting to get hot here in Indiana. The goats have lots of woods to escape to that are much cooler, yet for some strange reason, they prefer to hang out at the barn where it is hottest.
The black goats are the ones that feel it the most, so we've started giving them their summer hair cuts.
There is a LOT of hair that gets shaved off:
We generally just do their bodies (and not their heads and necks).
We always think they look a little silly, but they feel a lot better!
We usually don't shave the baby goats unless we have a baby with an unusually thick coat of hair.
The baby goats are growing really well and look great. They recently had a big change to their schedule. At the very end of May, all of the baby goats who are over 3 months old got weaned from their milk. They're not very happy with us at weaning time. Whenever anybody walks by, they all come running and hollering at us.
But they're all growing well and eating lots of hay, alfalfa pellets, and browse in the woods. The moms all look at them and you can just see them thinking, "Quit complaining!" LOL
We still feed the bucklings milk once a day for a while longer so they'll be big enough for breeding season. And we have 4 younger baby doelings that are still getting milk. So Greyden won't be finished feeding babies for a few more months.
